Good governance is one of the most important indicators of economic growth in today's world. Without political stability, proper laws and regulations, freedom of speech, reduction of corruption level and effectiveness of government policies, reaching high levels of development is very difficult and sometimes even impossible. Considering the conditions of governance in Islamic countries, in this study, the effects of good governance indicators on economic growth during the period of 1996-2020 with the quantile regression approach It was investigated and analyzed in selected Islamic countries including Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Turkey, UAE, Qatar, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia and 5 industrialized countries Russia, England, France, America, China, South Korea. And the findings of this study showed that among the indicators of good governance, the index of the right to express opinion and answer, the index of political stability, the index of efficiency and effectiveness of the government and the index of the rule of law have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in the countries under consideration. has studied Corruption control index also had a negative and significant effect on economic growth. Also, based on other results of this study, foreign trade, human capital and gross fixed capital formation have also had a positive and significant effect on economic growth.
