Changing alliances among the countries of the center of the Islamic world is a common feature of this geopolitical scene. Ideology, economics, personalities, successful coups and the interests and support of the great powers all play a role in changing the friendships and enmities between the countries of the center of the Islamic world. Futurology and geopolitics are different and related concepts. Since futurology is an interdisciplinary concept, it can be used as a suffix or prefix to any scientific discipline.
Geopolitical astrology increases the level of human knowledge in the field of country, nation-state or a geographical location at the national, regional and global levels in the geographical space. Therefore, the study of geopolitical futures studies makes possible the ground for achieving power. Therefore, the use of futures studies in the formulation of geopolitical theories increases their importance. Based on futures studies, it seems that the components of war, Arabs and oil are among the drivers that will play a role in shaping the scenario of the continuation of the current situation or the scenario of change and transformation in the center of the Islamic world.
The purpose of this article is to present the geopolitical perspective of the Islamic world and possible future developments. The expected findings indicate that the social, economic and security structures of the Islamic World Center will change geopolitically. In other words, the center of the Islamic world will face scenarios such as the gap between Arab and non-Arab Muslims, the expansion of secular governments, the spread of ethnicity, the growth of extremism, the development of democracy and Islamism, and so on.
