Political Islam is a profound term used in the contemporary century against traditional Islam. In this view, Islam as a central identity plays a functionalist role in the context of politics and theorizes social order with all its necessities. This phenomenon today is not only in the field of abstraction, but has really shown its capabilities in political action in countries like Turkey. In Turkey, political Islam has undergone a transformation due to social, historical, ideological and identity variables, which is a complete example of the failed coup of July 16, 2016, which left internal and deep regional consequences on Islamic political parties in Turkey. Is. Knowing the undeniable role of Islamist parties in the relationship between power and government structure in Turkey, the question that the authors of the leading research seek to answer with a descriptive-analytical approach is formulated as to what place the discourse of political Islam has in the relationship between power and government structure in Turkey. Has achieved? The hypothesis raised by the above question suggests that the discourse of political Islam in Turkey finds itself in the context of issues such as: class conflict and economic decline; Crisis of government legitimacy; Culture and modernization crisis; Religious, ethnic structure and the growth of Islamism in society; The growth and development of civil society; Expansion and deepening of secularism in society; International variables, ossification and the weakening of extremist Kemalism, political transformation and change of balance of power, the emergence of the AKP and the development and advancement of democracy have emerged. This discourse has sought to redefine the relationship between Islam and modernity in Turkish society, thereby strategically reorganizing the country's political, social, and cultural system.
