Nowadays, attention to the rights of citizens from different perspectives has been noteworthy for many scholars, statesmen and international circles.Realization of this in thought and character of Imam Ali (PBUH)as the original teachings of Islamic thought,is one of the objectives and main policies of his government and also in respect for the human personality and "human dignity".Human dignity brings some rights and duties for the political system and the citizens because the rights which he considers for citizens are human-centered and from the community and the city, can be followed. In this respect, placed in its rightful place in the community, people can move on route evolution and sublimation worldly and naturally otherworldly. To understand the civil rights of Imam Ali (PBUH), we need an answer to what we are and an orderly definition of citizenship. This article, based on theoretical and practical methodology of Imam Ali (PBUH)and by explaining the components of civil rights and meditating on religious sources tries to offer perceptions and inferences drawn in accordance with the historical understanding of the verses and narratives. The method in this paper, qualitative content analysis. Findings show that all citizens, based on the criterion of human identity and regardless of any other criterion, such as race, color, religion, status, … will enjoy a set of fundamental and strategic rights including freedom, justice, equality, the primacy of majority over the minority.
