Considering the importance of political culture and its important role in shaping the political behavior of citizens, this article has been written with the aim of recognizing the type of political culture of the people of Borujen. Theories of political culture, in particular Almond and Verba, have been used as a theoretical framework. After extracting the hypotheses from the theoretical framework, using a survey method and compiling a questionnaire whose validity and reliability were obtained by Cronbach's alpha, the hypotheses were tested in a sample of 350 people over 15 years of age in Borujen. Based on the findings of this article, the results indicate that 3.43 people have a limited culture, 76% have a subordinate and submissive culture and 20.57 have a participatory culture.
In the test of hypotheses, the following results are obtained by Kramer and Phi test: The relationship between socio-economic class (significance level (0.00)), material motivations (0.014) and mass media (0.007) with the type of political culture The relationship between religiosity, political elites, and age is not acknowledged and rejected.In INTER multiple regression analysis, only the relationship between mass media and political culture is a significant one, indicating the importance of the role of mass media.
