The West needs an explanation of "the other" in order to give meaning to itself and to dominate its identity by alienating it. In other words, until there is no "other", the dominant Western identity will have no meaning. Therefore, the discourse of Orientalism has been formed with the aim of humiliating the nations of the East. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation has identified Islamophobia as a contemporary form of racism and xenophobia, which is motivated by fear, mistrust and baseless hatred of Muslims and Islam. Islamophobia is an exaggerated and irrational fear of Islam that has promoted a negative and non-peaceful image of Islam in Western societies.Insulting Islamic holy things and even virtual killing of Muslims in digital games is part of this systematic movement. Some of these games are organized in such a way that Islamic values must be passed in order to reach the goals defined in that game. Another part of computer games focuses on presenting a harsh image of Islam and Muslims in Western societies. In these games, they try to attribute a violent, autocratic and destructive spirit to Muslims And to establish a link between Islam and terrorism and religious symbols such as mosques, which have been introduced as centers of terrorists. Islamophobia and the virtual killing of Muslims in digital games have been depicted in many games, along with insulting the holy things of Islam. As the most obvious example in this field, the numerous series of the game "Call of Duty" which in the discourse of Islamophobia is actually the flesh-and-blood version of the theory of "Clash of Civilizations" by Samuel Huntington. Some international documents have clearly pointed to the freedom of belief and religion, condemning insults to the sacred and condemning actions that lead to humiliation and hatred of religious groups.
