The present research has investigated and analyzed the political and social rights of women in the Islamic Republic of Iran using library sources and using a descriptive-analytical method. Due to the fact that the laws of the Islamic Republic are based on the holy Sharia of Islam, first the Islamic view on the political and social rights of women was examined and then the views of the founder of the Islamic Republic were expressed in this regard. The examination of the constitution and other elements of the Islamic Republic system led to the conclusion that in this system, the same political and social rights are considered for women and men, which shows a great progress compared to the era before the Islamic Revolution. However, there are structural (both political, cultural, social and civil law) and non-structural (mostly physiological) obstacles in Iranian women's full achievement of their political and social rights, which can be overcome with the help of the government and the promotion of public culture. The mentioned obstacles were overcome.
