Salafi thought and the phenomenon of violent extremism are frequent subjects in political and international studies.While a reductionist attitude and influence of Islam with fundamentalism trying to be all of Islam To be reduced extremismBut it seems quiddity of extremism requires deeper study of contemporary political Islam layer formation. The main objective of this paper is to explain the theoretical concept and objective flow of "extremism in political Islam. The main question of this article is that "the roots of identity and normative elements of political extremism in Islam is how to explain? The main hypothesis is that such initiatives; Salafist groups that violent struggle to gain power and overthrow the government through takfir opponents are doing, to restore the Islamic caliphate. This "radical political Islam" is defined.
