Abstract:   (928 Views)
Literature in any society and for any nation is the key to expressing ideas and protests and sometimes expressing love. Depending on the situation in which the poet finds himself, Aqam uses a certain tone, expression and style. During the second Pahlavi era, the use of socio-political symbolism became widespread in Iran. In this study, we intend to address the internal and external factors that caused Iranian poets such as the Third Brotherhood and Shamlou to turn to political and social symbolism. This research was written in a descriptive manner using library tools. The results showed that although many people and critics believed that the suffocating conditions of society led poets to use symbols, in fact, the intellectual idea that had become popular among poets led to the use of this style. Most poets during the second Pahlavi era were members of the Tudeh Party, which had Western and intellectual ideas. Accordingly, the poetschr('39') thinking was in line with them. Therefore, the change of style should be considered not only because of the suffocating conditions but also because of the tendency towards intellectualism and Westernism.
