One of the most important results of the developments in the Arab world in 2011, later known as the "Arab Spring" or "Islamic Awakening", was the fall of the government of Hosni Mubarak in Egypt and the coming to power of Mohamed Morsi in a democratic election. These developments, which initially promised a vision of democratization of one of the most important Islamic countries, quickly led to a series of crises in Egyptian society, culminating in a military coup the following year.
The focus of this study is to study the developments in Egypt with a focus on finding the cause of the fall of the government of Mohamed Morsi through the study of the intellectual ups and downs of the Muslim Brotherhood movement and addresses the main question: "What is Egyptian politics?" Due to the nature of the research, which is of the "descriptive-analytic case (in-depth) type", the descriptive hypothesis of the research is formulated as follows: "James Rosena's theory of continuity can be an appropriate explanation of the mechanism of internal and external variables at the micro and "Macro in the cultural, political and economic spheres of developments leading to the fall of Mohamed Morsi in Egypt."
New theories of international relations are characterized by overcoming methodological biases in cases such as micro- and macro-level analysis or focusing on positivist or rational methods, as well as focusing on enlightening theories and complementing various analytical techniques. Accordingly, the innovation of the present study is the use of this method to analyze the different causal layers affecting the phenomenon of the fall of the government of Mohamed Morsi and using library resources finally presents the map and mechanism of the effect of many layers of independent variables in this phenomenon.
