In the present era, political, cultural and social thoughts, attitudes and activities have passed national boundaries and distributed globally; affected by different thoughts and interact with them. This issues are all influenced by globalization processes. Therefore, globalization in the political, cultural and social dimensions has led to consequences that could create opportunities for different societies. Shiite political Islam also has been able to globally present itself in the globalization process. In this research, we attempted to use a descriptive-analytical method to explain the concepts of Shiite political Islam and globalization and study their characteristics by posing this question: What opportunities globalization provide for Shiite political Islam? The hypothesis then is that: globalization in the political, cultural and social dimensions have implications and consequences which can create opportunities for different societies; thus in the globalization space Shiite political Islam can also exploit to use advantage of globalization opportunities for its presence.
