Abstract:   (109 Views)
The occultation of the twelfth Imam and the issue of his occultation until the promised time had important consequences for the Shiite world. In fact, this issue meant the beginning of a socio-political life without the physical presence of the Imam. The beginning of a life without the physical presence of the Imam among the Shiites also meant a beginning; the beginning of questions and concerns such as how the Shiite community would be governed around him in the absence of the Imam and what duties the Shiites would have during the occultation period? Considering the importance of this issue and its impact on the socio-political life of the Shiites, what preparations were made for this beginning? What are the components of forming a government based on the idea of occultation? Specifically, how does the government use the idea of occultation in the absence of the absent Imam? What are the socio-political components of the government based on the idea of occultation, and how can this idea be a beginning for manifestation in the life of the Shiites by rethinking the idea of occultation in the new century of the 15th century? This research emphasizes the "beginning" of Shiite life without the presence of the Imam in the government, considers the independent variable as the idea of occultation and the dependent variable as the formation of the government, and with a descriptive-analytical method and collection of library resources, seeks to answer the question: What socio-political tradition has the history of the occultation of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) placed believers in the idea of occultation in, based on the continuation of his life during the occultation? This tradition has had its believers since the beginning of the Great Occultation until now, and generation after generation and heart to heart, the idea of occultation has given meaning to Shiite life based on the idea of Imamate and leadership among Shiites.
